Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup canned artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven
    Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish lightly with butter or cooking spray.

  2. Prepare the Mixture
    In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  3. Add Spinach and Artichokes
    Stir in the chopped spinach, artichokes, minced garlic, ¾ of the mozzarella cheese, and ¾ of the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Transfer to Baking Dish
    Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese for a golden, bubbly crust.

  5. Bake
    Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and the edges are bubbly.

  6. Serve Hot
    Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted baguette slices.


Tips:

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Use fresh spinach for a brighter flavor, but frozen spinach works well too (just thaw and drain it completely).
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
